Fantastic book for simple reading and understanding

I picked up the book to familiarise myself with the names and details of the birds, insects and trees around me. It never crossed my mind that these small but enormous contributors to nature could have such a big impact on my life and that of my child. I enjoy going through the book by myself and also sharing details with my 10 year old, who also reads it by the way. Simple to read with beautifully captured photographs and a great addition to the growing number of books in our home library.

Wonderful Companion for Local Explorations

Nature Rambles is an ode to local flora and fauna. A collection of photographs and information of about 200 species of insects, flowers and birds that are most likely to be encountered around the city, it contains the local and scientific names and classifications and descriptions that are easily readable, proving to be an invaluable addition for budding nature enthusiasts, be it children or adults who are just beginning their explorations of the natural world.

Nature Rambles makes us go back to the book again and again whenever we get to see a new species of plant/animal on your way. The very fact of knowing the name of the plant/animal makes you all excited. It has a wide variety of collection. Best companion to have it with you in your car. My children are excited to link the plants/animals to the pages of Nature Rambles. The paper quality and picture quality are too good.

The book covers very important information about the flora and fauna existing in cities.The book was handy and helpful in identifying many species ( plants,trees, flowers,birds) when we took children on guided tours. The book also has beautifully captured photos that helped children in identification.
